How does the blocking work?

Stronghold uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). You choose the apps and websites you want to guard, and when you try to open one, Stronghold steps in with a full-screen reminder instead.

Is it private?

Yes. There is no account and no login. Your selections stay on your device, and we never see which apps or sites you block. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I turn protection on or off?

Open the app and go to the Protection tab. Tap "Authorize protection", choose what to guard, then "Turn on protection". To pause it, tap "Turn off" on the same screen.

The picker does not show my apps

Make sure you tapped "Authorize protection" first and approved the Screen Time prompt. Then open "Choose what to guard" and select apps or website categories from the list.

Is Stronghold free?

Yes, the app is free to download and use.

How do I remove my data?

Because everything stays on your device, simply deleting the app removes any local data. There is nothing stored on our servers.
